Morning Paddle Farmington River

Farmington River Watershed Association canoe trip on Saturday morning July 28.  Paddle the flatwater stretch in Simsbury starting from the Pinchot Sycamore, going under the Flower Bridge and through the state wildlife management area, and landing at Curtiss Park.  Simsbury Land Trust member Sally Rieger, and FRWA Executive Director Eileen Fielding will be along to share information and stories about the river, its wildlife, and the surrounding lands.  Park and meet at Curtiss Park; the shuttle departs Curtiss Park at 9 AM.  Approximate paddle time 9:30-11:30.  Bring water, snacks, sun protection, and smiles! Preregistration required. 

If renting boat:  FRWA Members: $15, Non-members $20.  (Shuttle provided.)

If bringing boat:  FRWA Members $10, Non-members $15.  (Ask about shuttle space, or arrange your own.)
