The Boys Hockey team (3-6-2) is after back to back wins tonight when they host Hamden, an 8:15pm face-off.

Saturday

The Wrestling team (15-8) will host a 4 team meet at 10:0oam as they welcome in Guilford, Cheshire, and Glastonbury. After sweeping a quad meet last weekend, the Trojans lost a tight match to Southington Thursday.

In what promises to be a real grudge match, the Girls Hockey team hosts Hamden at 3:00pm. The Green Dragons handed the Trojans (12-2-2) one of just 2 losses on the season last month, a tightly contested 2-1 final.

Thursday Results

Despite being down by 4 at half-time, The boys basketball team crushed Conard 54-40. Adam Ziewacz led the way with 16 points including 9 of 10 from the free throw line for the Trojans who upped their record to 6-8. Spencer Simpkins provided a spark off the bench with 6 points and tenacious defense for Simsbury.

The girls meanwhile could not overcome a bad first half falling to Conard 53-44. The 25-10 deficit at the half was just too big a hill to climb for the Trojans who dropped their 5th game in a row despite Taylor Perry's 18 points.

The Wrestling team (15-8) was edged by Southington 36-30. John DePasquale, Connor Ciment, and Josh Gowdy had pins in the losing effort.
