Simsbury Sports Digest for Feb. 7
A chance for revenge on the ice today plus the biggest win of the season for another team.
Simsbury High School Sports Schedule for Monday
Well they say that revenge is a dish best served cold. The girls hockey team will have that opportunity as they host Hamden tonight at 7:30pm. It is a re-match of a 2-1 Green Dragon win from last month, one of just 2 losses on the season for the Trojans (12-2-2.) This game was originally scheduled for this past Saturday but was moved because of the weather.
The wrestling team will try to shake off the effects of a Saturday quad meet where they lost 2 of 3 matches as they visit Hall at 6:00pm. The Trojans (16-10) handled Cheshire 38-24, but were edged out by both Guilford 34-33 and Glastonbury 38-34.
