The public is invited to watch Simsbury native Sara Hendershot compete in the 2012 Olympics Women's Pair rowing final this morning. If you're up, head over to the Simsbury High School auditorium around 6:10 a.m. The race begins at 6:50 a.m. Participants are being asked to park in the east parking lot of the high school.

Got vocal talent? Stop by the Farmington Valley Chorus rehearsal tonight and check out the eclectic sounds of this local barbershop chorus. Visitors and potential new members are always welcome to stop by. The group rehearses at the First Church of Christ in Palmer Hall at 7:30 p.m.
