Shannon Knall for Board of Selectman

I am writing to express my support of Shannon Knall for Board of Selectmen.  I have known Shannon for many years as a school volunteer, as a parent and as a community leader. Her passion for Simsbury incomparable, and her commitment to service is a virtue to our town. She is everywhere; at town meetings and events, at school fairs, and at the baseball and soccer fields. She is duly invested in making Simsbury the best it can be.  As a current Selectman, Shannon's commitment is evident. She is mindful and measured, and an advocate for responsible development that will sustain Simsbury's natural and economic community.  Outside of her tenure as Selectman, Shannon has led many impressive legislative successes for children and for people with disabilities. In addition, she co-founded a Simsbury-based tennis camp for children with autism, supported by volunteers from our schools and service organizations, and in doing so, Shannon has once again brought different worlds together for the betterment of our community.  Shannon is an innovative thinker, blessed with pragmatic sense. Her ability to see a challenge from an everyman's perspective allows her to provide conscientious solutions. I value her efforts for Simsbury, and will be confidentially placing my vote for her on November 5th.
