Chamber Promotes Its Mission Thru Downtown Heraldry

In 2003, members of the Simsbury Celebrates! Committee asked the Simsbury Chamber to support their event by buying both Simsbury Celebrates! banners and brackets for lamp posts on Hopmeadow Street.

As part of the Simsbury Chamber mission to support the community, the Chamber funded Simsbury Celebrates! with 19 brackets and banners which have been hung each year in anticipation of this yearly event.

In 2013, the Chamber Marketing Committee Chairman Kelly Kearney of Clarity Marketing proposed using the banner brackets to promote our pride in the community, our mission and the town of Simsbury.

As a part of that effort, the Chamber is communicating a number of its key elements to the general public in an awareness campaign that will help to foster a strong sense of unity between local businesses and the general public, via an attractive set of banners.

The Simsbury Chamber of Commerce acts as a conduit from its member businesses to other businesses, and the community at large.  It is a community resource that strives to work in unison with other local organizations, the Town Government and the general public to inform, unite, and promote Simsbury.
