Simsbury Chamber Member is DECA Judge at Annual Conferrence

On Wednesday February 26, 2014 , Anthony Calendrillo (SCOC  Board Member and co-founder of LIVE EVERY DAY), participated as a judge at the 62nd annual State DECA Conference held at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville.  

Over 900 students participated in simulated case study interviews with the winner competing nationally in May at an annual competition in Georgia.

Teams of 2 students were given a case study to review and then prepare a 10 minute presentation to a panel of judges.

Volunteer judges from nearly 50 Connecticut companies graded teams on both technical content and presentation skills.

DECA is an international association of high school students interested in pursuing careers in marketing, management, finance, or entrepreneurship.
