Don't Forget — Third Annual Volunteer Expo April 28

The Town of Simsbury and the Simsbury Tourism Committee are holding the third annual Volunteer Expo this Thursday, April 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eno Hall, 754 Hopmeadow St.

Deputy First Selectman John Hampton is once again coordinating this effort.

“I am so excited about the third annual expo — it grows bigger and better every year,” said Hampton. “Simsbury’s greatest resources are its volunteers and non-profit/service organizations.  This event brings them all together and celebrates their efforts.”

Last year, more than 200 residents visited with groups such as Simsbury Celebrates, SCTV, the Simsbury Farmers’ Market and the Girl Scouts. The event is free, and no preregistration is required.
