Heads, Mustaches, Eyebrows Shaved to Raise Funds for Child Cancer Research

Volunteers raised nearly $21,000 for childhood cancer research.

Volunteers from local Fire Departments gathered to shave their heads, eyebrows, or mustaches to raise money for St. Baldrick's childhood cancer foundation on Saturday at the Lyme Bar and Grill in Avon.

The volunteers from the Charter Oak Fools team collected nearly $21,000.
