Something Other than Irene? Here's a Look at Patriot Golf Day
On Saturday, golfers raised funds at Hop Meadow Country Club for a good cause.
Golfers had a chance to give back to those who have given so much for their country at a Patriot Golf Day outing at Hop Meadow Country Club Saturday, Aug. 27.
Proceeds benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women who were killed or disabled in the line of duty. To date, more than 1,300 scholarships have been awarded by the Folds of Honor Foundation.
Hop Meadow Country Club sponsored the charitable event.
