Affordable Care Facts, Clawhammer Banjo and Senior Citizens Night at SHS

Hello Simsbury. This week, with elections looming, we will bring you more political profiles. However there are many other things happening. Here are just a few.
1. The Affordable Health Care Act has certainly generated a lot of rhetoric from people of all political persuasions. Tonight's program at Simsbury Public Library, however, touts itself as offering just the facts. Find out what it means for you and your family and/or business.
2. On Tuesday, improve your poses with the help of Journey of Yoga.
3. Wednesday evening brings a chance to learn more about the Simsbury VFW.
4. Late Friday morning, Simsbury Newcomers offers its fall potluck with a guest speaker who will talk about organizing for the holidays.
5. On Thursday night, senior citizens are welcome to come out for free food and a girls volleyball game. Reservations required. Click here for details.
6. Friday night, the friends of the library present American Roots banjo and guitar with Maria Fairchild.
7. Over in Collinsville, the 20th Anniversary Halloween parade takes place on Saturday night.
