Battery Recycling Update

You may or may not know that we offer free recycling all types of batteries, from AAA to car batteries.  We just found out last week that the battery recycling company is requesting that all batteries have masking tape on the ends, even coin-sized batteries, as they have had a fire on one of their own trucks. They believe it started with one of the small coin lithium batteries.  You should do this as soon as you remove your batteries from use, as this may cause a fire in your own home.  We have masking tape available on our recycling buckets inside the store.
