Katy Nally
Hi there, I've worked as a reporter for several years at a variety of publications, both in print and online.
I graduated from the University of Connecticut in May 2009 with a BA in journalism and a minor in French. While at school I worked as a general assignment reporter for The Daily Campus and had several internships. I wrote feature stories for the Willimantic Chronicle and press releases for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter. After graduating I worked at CTnewsjunkie.com, covering events at the Hartford, Conn. capitol. Then, in August of 2009 I began working as a full-time reporter for the Rivereast News Bulletin, covering the towns of Marlborough and Colchester in eastern Connecticut. But in May 2011 I moved down to DC where I currently freelance for several Patch sites. When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening, bike riding and drinking tea.
