Regina O'Sullivan, Neighbor

Regina O’Sullivan has lived in Simsbury for five years with her husband Peter O’Sullivan and their three children. Her writing experience began with Lehigh University’s <i>Brown and White</i> newspaper, where she graduated magna cum laude in 1992 with a B.A. in English. While pursuing a Master’s Degree in English at WCSU, Regina wrote as a freelance reporter for <i>The Ridgefield Press</i> in Ridgefield, CT, her home town.  During her career as a high school English teacher, she continued her education at Wesleyan University where she graduated with an MALS degree in 2003, when her first child was two years old. As a Connecticut certified English teacher, Regina has taught writing in many different ways including research, creative, expository and persuasive. Now, in addition to writing regularly for Patch.com, Regina is a stay at home mom with three children. Regina has learned to pick up many diverse hobbies including knitting, reading, bargain hunting, baking, yoga, photography, juggling, small engine repair and diplomacy. In her free time Regina also tutors in English, volunteers, and files her nails.
