Vie For the Kids Supports Kids Battling Cancer at CCMC

As of early Thursday afternoon, a few dinner tickets were also still available.

On Saturday, Oct. 5, runners and foodies alike will have an opportunity to support Connecticut Children’s Medical Center at two premier vie for the kids events in Simsbury; the vie for the kids 6K Trail Run/Walk and the vie for the kids A Feast at the Farm.

vie for the kids has been tremendously successful in past years, because both events offer something for everyone.  Runners and walkers can experience one of Connecticut’s most treasured trails during the 6K Trail Run/ Walk through the woods of Ethel Walker. That evening, adults can treat themselves to an evening of delectable foods and entertainment at A Feast at the Farm, where all funds raised help support children who are battling cancer and life-threatening blood diseases. It is the single, largest fundraising effort for the Cancer Clinical Trials Program at Connecticut Children’s.

The at Ethel Walker Woods: This race is for runners of all ages and experience levels, offering participants an enjoyable journey through the pristine and protected jewel of the Simsbury Land Trust. Leashed dogs and all-terrain strollers are welcome. Additionally, vie for the kids 6K Trail Run/Walkvie for the kids is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned race.
