5th Annual Taste in Simsbury Presented by Simsbury Bank

Simsbury, Connecticut – Mark your calendars for

the 5th Annual Taste in Simsbury, which will happen on Thursday, August 29th.  This year, we
are excited to announce our new presenting sponsor and great community partner,
Simsbury Bank.  Simsbury Bank is the

Town’s largest bank and a leading financial partner in helping businesses and

families throughout the region to achieve their goals with informed advice and

quality deposit, residential mortgage, commercial loan and investment services. 

This
gourmet event will once again be held at The Riverview, Simsbury’s

custom-designed banquet facility. 
Tickets will go on sale shortly, and have sold out every year before the
doors open.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and guests

can enjoy some of the best food in the Greater Hartford area, all in one place.

Returning
restaurants from Simsbury include Abigail’s Grille & Wine Bar, Evergreens
at The Simsbury Inn, Little India, Meadow Asian Cuisine, Millwright’s Restaurant
and Plan B Burger Bar.  They will once

again be joined by Apricots Restaurant & Pub, Matthew’s Restaurant, Max a

Mia, Max Downtown, Republic, Seasons Restaurant at Avon Old Farms Hotel and
Tapas.  We also welcome newcomers
Carbone’s Kitchen, Han Asian Cuisine and Rizzuto’s Restaurant and Bar.  Hand-made ice cream and gelato will again be
provided by J. Foster’s Select Batch Ice Cream; desserts by A Little Something
Bakery; spirits will be provided by RJ’s Spirit Shop, Red Stone Pub, Thomas
Hooker Brewery, Back East Brewing Company, RIPE Craft Bar Juice and Super Cellar.  Peaberry’s Café will be providing gourmet
coffee, teas and their famous mocha chillers and The Riverview will of course
have slices of wedding cake.

Tickets
are all-inclusive, and guests will enjoy gourmet samples from each

participating restaurant, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and dessert.  They are $50 and can be purchased at the
Simsbury Bank branch locations in Simsbury, Avon, Granby and Bloomfield.  They will also be available for sale on www.ShopSimsbury.com and at
Horan's Flowers & Gifts, Welden Hardware, The Simsbury Inn, and L Designs Hair Salon at The Courtyard.
