Local Novelist to Conduct a Book Reading at Peaberry's in Simsbury

   
At 6:PM at Peaberry's cafe on Friday 9/2713, D.H. Robbins will read from his latest novel "The Tu-tone DeSoto," a story about growing up in Iowa during The Kennedy Years. The teenagers in the story are unwittingly up against the mores of a changing society sowing the seeds of the Counter-culture soon to develop. "The Tu-toneDeSoto" has been positively reviewed (4.5 stars on Amazon), is featured on Boomercafe.com, and is available in print and Kindle editions through Amazon. It is the first in a series entitled "The Silver Generation Chronicles" with will follow the story's characters into the present. Hope you can make it!
