Free ACT/SAT Combo Practice Test

Attention current Sophomores and Juniors!  To give students a leg up in today’s highly competitive college admissions market, Simsbury Library is partnering with Kaplan Test Prep, the nation’s oldest and largest provider of test preparation and admissions services, to offer a free practice ACT/SAT Combo test for area high school students. Students will have the opportunity to sample the test and gauge their strengths and weaknesses.  The test is comprised of different elements from the ACT and SAT.  Students will discover which test they have a greater aptitude for and will then be able to direct their efforts accordingly.  The test will last for 4.5 hours and is proctored by a professional under realistic testing conditions. In addition to taking a free practice test under timed conditions that simulate the actual ACT/SAT administration, students will receive feedback on their performance, including an analysis of their strengths and weaknesses, helping them to adjust their preparation accordingly. Students can expect a call within two weeks of the test from a testing specialist who can send them an e-copy of their score and explain the various metrics in the report. Preregistration at www.simsburylibrary.info or 860-658-7663 for this free practice test is required as seating is limited.
