Vicente Garcia Show

Vicente


Garcia is a Simsbury potter, sculptor and a full professor of ceramics at CCSU.


His work is primitive fired in style often including sculptural elements. He delivers presentations in public schools throughout Connecticut.


Other presentations include gallery talks, workshops, and as part of visiting


artist programs. Most recently Vicente was commissioned to construct the metal


sculpture of a bike to honor Simsbury’s designation as a bike friendly town.











Vicente’s pottery and sculpture will be on exhibit in the Ethel Walker School


Library  Gallery from November 18 through


December 20. A reception will be held on Friday, December 6 from 4 – 7pm. It is


open to the public.
