Hartford Wolf Pack to Play Exhibition Game in Simsbury

Next Sunday, hockey fans will have the chance to see American Hockey League action right in Simsbury. 

In the last of its pre-season games, The Hartford Wolf Pack will face off against the Springfield Falcons at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 at the International Skating Center of Connecticut, 1375 Hopmeadow St. Tickets are just $5, with proceeds benefitting Hartford inner-city hockey programs. 

"We're very excited about it," said Bob Crawford, co-owner of the skating center. 

The Wolf Pack practice at Champions Skating Center in Cromwell, also co-owned by Crawford.

He said the team has done some great fan outreach at that facility and were graciously willing to try it in Simsbury. 

Crawford said the facility will have to limit tickets and said people can purchase them ahead of time at the skating center or over the phone at (860) 651-5400.
